MARSHALL (KMHL) – Returning to school will be a topic of conversation during the Marshall School District’s school board meeting this afternoon.

The school board will hear a presentation on a Return 2 Learn plan this afternoon. Last week, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz directed local school districts to work with Department of Health and Education officials to determine the best way for the district to begin the school year.

The district has been working on plans for weeks, since the Department of Education directed local districts to prepare plans for three different scenarios, in-person classes, distance learning, or a hybrid combination of the two.

This afternoon’s school board meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m.
