MARSHALL (KMHL) – Marshall Police are warning residents and community members about another rash of catalytic converter thefts that have been taking place in the area.
According to a published report this morning in the Marshall Independent, the police department says it received three different reports of stolen catalytic converters in June – two of those thefts have happened in the past few days.
In all three instances, the vehicles were parked outside – two of the thefts happened overnight.
Authorities encourage residents to park vehicles in a secure area – like a garage if possible, or in a well-lit area if that’s not possible.
