Updated: MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall High School is informing parents it has received a threat of a shooting at the school today.
In a phone message to parents, high school principal Brian Jones says there is an increased police presence in the building, and they are currently interviewing students and staff. He said the threat was found inside the building yesterday.
In the message, Jones said to parents the threat of the shooting was written on the wall of the girls’ bathroom.
The high school has cancelled their Snow Week Coronation assembly, this afternoon the threat was deemed not credible and the students were never believed to be in any danger and is why classes continued.
Anyone with information on the threat is asked to contact the high school office or Marshall Police.
