A few years after their son was born the couple moved to Marshall, and Margaret again took up teaching at St. Eloi’s Catholic school in Ghent, MN. Margaret was very active and creative. She painted landscapes, sewed, stitched, and built wood wishing wells and intricate Christmas decorations. She was active in the church choir and Catholic Daughters. Margaret loved to garden and keep her pets entertained. She was a master of the Sudoku puzzles and the Sunday New York Times crossword. Margaret also enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and Food Shelf.
