MINNEOTA (KMHL) – A 44-year-old man was declared dead at the scene of a construction accident northeast of Minneota Wednesday.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says a 44-year-old man was declared dead at the scene of the incident, which was reported shortly after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials say the man was operating heavy construction equipment on a project when the equipment overturned on him.
Authorities have not identified the man, pending notification of family. Sheriff’s officials say the incident is still under investigation.
