MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is considering equipping their officers with body cameras.

As a result, Lyon County Sheriff Eric Wallen, in a press release, says they have developed a “Body-Worn Camera” policy.

Sheriff’s officials say per state statute they have opened up public comment on the proposed policy. Comments can be submitted in writing through the mail or emailed in to the sheriff’s office.

If you’d like to review the policy you can read it on the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office website.
