The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents: 

On Wednesday at 12:08PM, a traffic stop was made near the intersection of South O’Connell Street and North Highway 23 near Marshall. After investigating, a 65-year-old Hanley Falls woman was cited for driving after revocation. 

On Wednesday at 7:59PM, a traffic stop was made near the intersection of West Main Street and South 4th Street near Marshall. After investigating, a 20-year-old Montevideo man was cited for driving after suspension. 

On Wednesday at 8:25PM, a traffic stop was made near the intersection of 200th Street and State Highway 23 near Lynd. After investigating, a 38-year-old Oregon man was cited for speeding. 

On Wednesday at 8:54PM, a traffic stop was made near the intersection of 130th Avenue and US Highway 14 near Balaton. After investigating, a 35-year-old Byron man was arrested for driving after cancellation and on a Goodhue County warrant. 


The Marshall Police Department reports the following incidents: 

On Wednesday at 9:27AM, an accident was reported in the 1200 block of US Highway 59. Two vehicles were involved in the collision. There were no injuries reported and no vehicles were towed from the scene. The crash is under investigation.
