Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth “Kenny” Paradis, 65, of Marshall, will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will be Monday from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the remembrance center. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall. Masks are required at all indoor events and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Kenneth Edward Paradis was born on December 9, 1955, in Marshall, to Edward and Catherine (Schmoll) Paradis. He grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1975. After school, Ken took a job working for Appleton Silos. In 1979, he took a job for the Schwan Food Company and worked for the company for 42 years. He later worked for County Fair and, most recently, was working for Menards. He was an exceptionally hard worker. On July 23, 1983, he was married to Patricia “Trish” Johnson. The couple made their home and raised their family in Marshall. Ken was very generous and would always help anyone in need. He was very social and made friends very easily.

Kenneth died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at his residence in Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Trish, of Marshall, children Nathan Paradis of Cottonwood, Tanya (and Bill) Tyler of Dawson, Ashley (and Dan) Taveirne of Lynd, grandchildren Joey and Mason, siblings Becky (and Dave) Gifford, Jackie (and Denny) Dubbeldee, Maggie Novosad, Janet (and Jim) Kor, Alice (and Ron) Demuth, Larry (and Tammy) Paradis, Juanita (and Bruce) Bot, Suzie (and Mike) Gruhot, Charlie (and Miya) Paradis and Shirley Paradis and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jean in infancy, brother-in-law Jim Novosad and father-in-law Gerald Johnson.
