REDWOOD FALLS – A juvenile was taken into custody after making terroristic threats against the Redwood Valley Middle School on Monday, according to the Redwood Falls Police Department. At approximately 6:36 Monday evening, RFPD officers met with a juvenile victim and their guardians after they reported a threat against the life of a juvenile victim and the Redwood Valley Middle School building. The victim’s information was corroborated by the officers. Shortly after, the juvenile suspect was taken into custody on probable cause charges of terroristic threats. The juvenile suspect remains in custody.  

The Redwood Falls Police Department notes the investigation is still ongoing. Currently, no credible threats remain against the juvenile victim or Redwood Valley School District facilities, staff, or student body.
