June Lindsley, age 87, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Prairie Home Hospice – Lockwood House in Marshall.  Memorial Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall. Following the service, attendees are invited for a small luncheon in the church basement. Interment will then take place in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, also at the church.

June Ella Hartman was born on June 8, 1935, to Carl and Mabel (Syverson) Hartman on a farm just outside of Chandler, Minnesota. She attended country school before transferring into Chandler public school. June helped her parents on the family farm.  June was united in marriage to Warren Hilton Lindsley on September 3, 1950, in Slayton, Minnesota. The couple made their home on Grandpa Lindsley’s farm before brief stops in California and Ohio. In 1958, the couple moved back to Minnesota and made their home on a farm near Marshall where they raised 5 children: Douglas, Deborah, Steve, Vickie, and Michelle. June was a devoted mother, homemaker, and farm wife.  She also worked as a seamstress and later shared in WJ Trucking business by driving truck. After 65 years of marriage together, Warren and June moved into Marshall and Warren passed away in 2016.  June’s faith was very important to her whole life. She was baptized as an adult in Lake Sarah. She was a member of the Christian Women’s Club, served on the Deaconess Board for the Evangelical Free Church, and was a Sunday School teacher.  June also served as a youth leader for her children’s Youth Group at the Presbyterian Church. June was a busy person, she enjoyed keeping active.  Her enjoyments in life included painting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, gardening, canning, and tending to her flower gardens.

June Ella Lindsley entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Marshall, Minnesota at the age of 87 years, 2 months, and 9 days.  Blessed be her memory.

June is survived by her five children, Douglas (and Lora) Lindsley of Lynd, Deborah (and Steve) MacDonald of New Braunfels, TX, Steve (and Kimberly) Lindsley of Marshall, Vickie (and Ronald) Schultz of Marshall, Michelle (and Douglas) Muilenburg of Platte, SD; 14 grandchildren, Jeny (and Greg) Bauer, Lacey Lindsley, Ashley (and Chris) Tolk, Anthony (and Tegan) Lindsley, Matthew (and Mandy) MacDonald, Melissa (and Trevor) Rogge, Christine Lindsley, Michael Lindsley (and Kendall Rose-Gregg), Cassandra (and Joey) Johnson, Curtus Schultz (and Dana Kerkaert), Caleb Schultz, Molly (and Dillon) DeHaai, Emily Muilenburg, Josie Muilenburg; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (and Delbert) Karl of Osakis; Brother-in-law Rolland Boom of Alexandria; Brother-in-law and Siter-in-law James (and Barbara) of Minneapolis, Brother-in-law Robert Lindsley or Park Rapids, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.  Preceding her in death is her husband, Warren Lindsley; parents, Carl and Mabel Hartman; 6 siblings; 2 sisters-in-law; and 4 brothers-in-law
