Judy Koepp, age 75, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Monday, September 19, 2022, at her home. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. The evening will close with a prayer service at 7:30. Visitation will then continue one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the church. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall is handling the arrangements.
Judy Ann Miller was born on November 5, 1946, in Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Raymond and Mabel (Jorgenson) Miller. Judy was baptized and confirmed in her youth at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She attended school in Clarkfield and graduated with the class of 1964. She went on to attend Minnesota Commercial College in Mankato. On August 6, 1966, Judy married Maynard Koepp at her home church in Clarkfield. The couple made their home in New Hope, Minnesota and Judy worked at Coast to Coast. The couple was blessed with 2 children, Ryan and Tonya. The family made their permanent home in Marshall. Judy worked at Schwan’s as an administrative assistant for Alfred and Paul Schwan. She then worked with her mom in the tax business at Miller Tax Service in Clarkfield. She worked in sales and management for Electrolux for 10 years and continued to work part time at Schwan’s until her cancer diagnosis. She enjoyed being active and dancing and watching her children grow. On December 30, 1996, Judy had a brain tumor removed. She beat the odds and remained cancer free until the end. She found many treasured friendships in the cancer community. She used her bubbly and outgoing personality to foster the relationships she made. Judy’s most treasured relationships were those she had with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren. Brittney and Shelby were the apple of her eye.
Judy Koepp died on Monday, September 19, 2022, in Marshall Minnesota, at the age of 75 year, 10 months, and 14 days. Blessed be her memory.
Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Maynard Koepp of Marshall; 2 children, Ryan Koepp of Stillwater, Tonya (Jason) Ormberg of Amiret; 2 grandchildren, Brittney Ormberg, Shelby Ormberg; brother, Gene (Lilly) Miller of Northfield; sister-in-law, LeAnn Schuerman of Brooklyn Park; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mabel Miller; Maynard’s parents, Fred and Caroline Koepp; and brother-in-law, Arnold Schuerman.
