Jamie Welsh, age 59, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. Private Interment will be on Monday, December 7, 2020, in the St. Eloi Catholic Cemetery, Ghent, Minnesota.
Jamie Marie Welsh was born in Olivia, Minnesota, on September 8, 1961. She was the daughter of James and Adeline (Uthe) Welsh. She was baptized, received first communion, and later confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bird Island, Minnesota. Jamie attended schools in Bird Island, New Ulm, and St. Eloi in Ghent before graduating from the Minneota High School. She went on to work many jobs until she made Marshall her home in the mid-1980s and started working as a Housekeeper at the Comfort Inn in Marshall, Minnesota. In her free time, Jamie and her parents spent time together making rosaries and going to flea markets. Her other enjoyments in life included reading, animals, puzzles, and crocheting.
Jamie Welsh died on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at age of 59 years, 2 months, and 22 days. Blessed and eternal be her memory.
She is survived by her siblings, Kent (Sharon) Welsh of Cedar Hill, TX, Tom (Cindy) Welsh of Marshall, Paula (Doug) Schlorf of Montrose, MI; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Jamie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Adeline Welsh.
