WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (KMHL) – Hy-Vee has released more information about a data breach that appears to have exposed millions of card numbers over a span of several months between December and late July.

The company says malware affected point-of-sale systems at restaurants, drive-thru coffee shops and fuel pumps operated by the company.

Hy-Vee has also said it does not believe malware affected its grocery point of sale systems.

The company has compiled a list of different locations affected by the breach. In Marshall, the website says the only payment system exposed was the Market Grille system between January 15th and July 10th.
