Howard “Howie” Steenhoven, age 80, of Marshall, Minnesota, died under the care of his family and hospice on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at his home. Memorial Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Lake Sarah Baptist Church north of Slayton, Minnesota. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the church cemetery. A Reception for attendees will then be held back in the church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will continue one hour prior to his celebration, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the church. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall is handling the arrangements.
