HECTOR (KMHL) – A 28-year-old Hector man was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after his leg was trapped in a corn head last week.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Benjamin Beadell had a leg trapped in the corn head mechanism between snouts. Authorities say his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Authorities say Beadell’s leg got stuck in the chains of a running corn head while working near a stationary combine.
A safety mechanism prevented him from being further pulled into the corn head.
