SANDNES TOWNSHIP, MN — A Hanley Falls woman was injured after her vehicle collided with another on Saturday on State Highway 23, between Cottonwood and Hanley Falls, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At 10:41 Saturday morning, a 2014 Chevy Cruze was traveling north on State Highway 23 and a 2010 Ford Taurus was traveling south on State Highway 23 when they collided. The roads were covered with ice and snow, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The driver of the Chevy, 71-year-old Rosa Rodriguez of Hanley Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Marshall hospital.
The driver of the Ford, 21-year-old Justin Henke of Stewart, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Hanley Falls Fire Department, Cottonwood Ambulance, and Granite Falls Ambulance.
