(St. Paul, MN) — Governor Tim Walz will address the state’s flood response at a news conference this morning at 9:45 a.m. Following his declaration of a peacetime emergency on Saturday, the Minnesota National Guard has been mobilized to assist with flood operations. Walz will be joined by officials from Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, MnDOT, the DNR, and the National Weather Service.
