Etienne “Gene” Thooft, age 94, of Tyler, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Lakeville Senior Housing in Balaton, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the St. Dionysius Catholic Church in Tyler, Minnesota. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Dionysius Catholic Church in Tyler. Inurnment will be at the Ghent Cemetery in Ghent, Minnesota. Arrangements are under the care of Hartquist Funeral Home.
