VESTA (KMHL) – A Franklin man was injured when the motorcycle he was riding when he struck a deer.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 61-year-old Paul Dennis Woods received non-life threatening injuries when the 2012 Harley Davidson he was riding hit the deer in Vesta Township around 5:30 yesterday morning.
Authorities say after he struck the deer Woods had to lay the bike down. Woods was taken to the Avera-Marshall Regional Medical Center. The State Patrol says Woods was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
