ST. PAUL (KMHL) – A Guatemalan woman who was convicted after a fatal crash with a Lakeview School Bus in 2008 will face two more years in prison for coming back to the U.S.
Olga Marina Franco del Cid was sentenced in U.S. District Court last week after pleading guilty to charges of illegally re-entering the U.S. after being deported.
After her two-year prison sentence, del Cid will be deported again.
She was arrested in Inver Grove Heights by immigration officials last November after they received a tip she had returned to Minnesota.
She was deported in 2016 after serving 8 years in prison for her role in a crash near Cottonwood that killed four Lakeview School children.
