SLAYTON – Four people were injured after their vehicle collided with a semi in Slayton on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 1:10 Wednesday afternoon, a 2005 Chevy Impala was traveling eastbound on Highway 30 and a 2022 Freightliner semi was traveling southbound on Highway 59 when they collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Chevy, 39-year-old Donovan Wayne Olson of Pipestone, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Murray County Medical Center. Three passengers were also injured. 30-year-old Daniel Justin Olson and 28-year-old Lauren Kathleen Pegram were taken to the Murray County Medical Center. 57-year-old Kathleen Irene Pegram was taken to the Pipestone County Medical Center.
The driver of the Freightliner, 45-year-old Keith Edward Brouwer of Tracy, was not injured.
