ANAGOON, ALASKA (KMHL) – A former longtime area school district superintendent passed away this week in Alaska.
Bruce Houck, who served for several years as the superintendent at the RTR, Lynd and Hendicks School Distircts passed away at his home in Alaska on Tuesday at the age of 61.
Houck was currently serving as the Superintendent of the Chatham School District in Alaska.
Officials say Houck died of natural causes in his sleep and no foul play is suspected.
