DAWSON — The Minnesota State Patrol reports a fatal accident occurred on Sunday in Lac Qui Parle County. At approximately 10:34 Sunday evening, a 2000 Peterbilt Semi driven by a 48-year-old man from Lake Benton was entering Highway 75 from 180th Street while a 2000 International Semi driven by a 68-year-old man from Gary, SD was traveling southbound on Highway 75 when they collided.
Identities of the drivers and their condition will be released later today.
Assistance was provided by the Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Dawson Fire and Ambulance.
