Hosted by St. Stephen youth, join us Tuesday, October 31st from 5:45 - 7 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Stephen Lutheran Church for our annual Trunk or Treat event! Make sure to wear your costumes! Please bring a non-perishable or monetary donation for the food shelf. Everyone is welcome!  

Wednesday, November 1st 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Vesta Cafe - Main Street there will be a pillow cleaning workshop by Carlson Pillow cleaning service sponsored by the Vesta Legion Aux. #306. Get your pillows cleaned, deodorized, sanitized, & fluffed! Know that crushed foam pillows can be cleaned and polyester pillows can be recovered.

Shear Attraction of Marshall invites you to the 12th annual Fall Ladies Night, held in downtown Marshall at 118 North 3rd street, the Shear Attraction building, November 2nd from 5-7 pm. There will be many vendors to choose from and a great chance to do some holiday shopping!  

The Marshall Area Stage Company & KMHL Marshall Radio in collaboration with the Marshall-Lyon County Library present to you Live Radio Skits featuring: "The Stache". Friday, Nov. 3rd at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4th at 2 p.m. at the Marshall-Lyon County Library community room. Book by Ryan Neely, music by Art Gibson.  Suggested donation of $5. The Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall is hosting a Vietnam Veterans Panel in connection with the new exhibit, The Vietnam War and Lyon County.  This event will be held on Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 PM in the conference room at the museum.  The panel includes local Vietnam veterans: Dan Dybsetter, Dan Markell, Rich Maurer, Karl Porisch, and George Seldat.  Panelists will discuss topics related to their service during the Vietnam War.  The panel presentation is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information: 507-537-6580 or director@lyoncomuseum.org

Come to Lincoln County VFW Post 2980 Saturday, November 4th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. for a Deer Hunters Supper. Food served includes a choice of steak ($18), pork chop($15), or country fried steak($12) for  your meal.  

November 5th is Subway Sunday! 10% of sales from Subway in Canby, Granite Falls, Slayton, Tracy, and both Marshall locations will go towards supporting the United Way of Southwestern Minnesota. United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) is honored to be partnering with local businesses for Dine Local Help Local this fall. All funds raised will be invested in local programs to benefit local people throughout the service area. Come to the Lake Benton Community & Event Center Sunday, November 5th, 2023 from    9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for a medical expense benefit for the Flores family by the Lake Benton Lions Club. The breakfast menu includes pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, & milk. All net breakfast proceeds go towards medical expenses for the Flores family.

On Sunday, November 5th, at 7:00 pm the Buffalo Ridge Chorale will present its farewell concert at Christ Lutheran Church, Hendricks, Minnesota. Since 2010, the chorale has performed concerts in various communities in Minnesota. The evenings music selections include Gershwin's "Love Is Here to Stay" plus classics such as "Nice'N Easy", "I've Got the World on a String", "Always and Forever", "Turn Turn Turn" and many more. The Chorale's director, Dr. Anna DeGraff, is an instructor of applied voice and music appreciation at South Dakota State University in Brookings.
