Lucan American Legion Arthur Kramer Post 467 is sponsoring a ‘Burger Bar’ Fundraiser on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2019, serving 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Knott’s Corner in Lucan.  Free Will Offering with proceeds going to current Legion projects.  There will be a display of pictures of local veterans and their military mementos.

Arc Minnesota Southwest is hosting a public meeting on Microgrant for Minnesotans with a disability. These grants help people with disabilities reach goals around competitive employment, inclusive housing, and community integration. The Arc Minnesota will host two public meetings about microgrants for Minnesotans with disabilities in southwest Minnesota. There will be a formal presentation, Q&A session, and time to socialize.

The Southwest Minnesota State University Chorale, directed by Dr. Stephen Kingsbury, will perform “Songs of the Earth and Stars” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 100 Church St., Marshall.
