Join the Minneota Knights of Columbus Saturday, October 14th at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Minneota for their pork chop dinner! Dinner will be served between 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm. It will be a free will offering. Sponsored by St. Edwards Catholic Church and the Minneota Knights of Columbus, All are welcome!

Join us for the final City Coffee Hour 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Hy-Vee, October 17th, for free coffee and conversations on the proposed Aquatic Center. The Mayor and Staff will be on hand to answer questions and take suggestions!    

The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Cottonwood Community Center Tuesday, October 16th from 12:30 - 6:30 p.m. Donating blood saves lives. There are many appointments to donate open! Sign up and register to donate by going to RedCrossBlood.org

The Knights of Columbus are bringing Oktoberfest to Marshall Saturday, October 21st! Join in on the fun and commiserate at the 4-H building in the Lyon County Fairgrounds from 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Admission costs 10$. There'll be live music by the Larry Olsen Band from Lake Benton from     2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and music by the Bockfest Boys from New Ulm from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. And of course, Brau Brothers beer will be served! Are you or someone you know looking for healing? There is a Hope and Healing night open to the public Sunday, October 22nd, at Holy Redeemer Church from 3 - 5 pm. Whether you or someone you know could use healing physically, mentally, or spiritually, attend Hope and Healing night. There will be small prayer groups available for individuals to be prayed over and opportunities for confession and time with Jesus.

Living Word Church is exited to host a church movie night on Sunday, October 22nd, at 6 pm in the Living Word Sanctuary. They will be showing The Blind - the True Story of the Robertson Family! The movie isn't coming to Marshall theater, but the church has the rights to show for one night and they will be including popcorn with your purchase.
