The Lake Benton Community and Event Center will be hosting a Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, November 9th from 9am-12pm. On the menu there will be: Pancakes, french toast, sausage, toast, eggs, milk, and coffee. The proceeds will be going to the Lake Benton Opera House.

On Tuesday, November 8th serving from 4:30-7PM at Grace First Parish in Russel, Minnesota the 126th Annual election day dinner will be taking place. Meal prices will be 14$ for adults, ages 5-12 eat for 6$ and ages 4 and under eat FREE. The menu will include: Turkey with dressing, potatoes and gravy, corn, coleslaw, cranberry relish that's homemade, rolls, dessert, and a beverage. Carryout is available, and it is handicapped accessible.

The Milroy American Legion will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, November 13th from 9am-12pm. There is no admission fee, but free will donation would be appreciated. On November 28th, from 1-5pm (Monday) the Hendricks Community will be hosting a blood drive. You can schedule your donation appointment at this link www.cbblifeblood.org, or by calling 605-331-3222. Also, all donors will receive a subway gift card. All donors mus be 17 years of age or older (if you are 16 years or younger you need a parent consent form at the website listed) and you need to weigh 110 pounds or more. You need to be in good general health of the day of the donation as well.
