Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center Annual Meeting

The annual meeting for the Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center will be at 1 p.m. May 5th. Keynote speaker Nancy Guertner will present at 1:30 pm.
A member of the North Star Chapter(of Germans from Russia), Nancy was one of five editors of the chapter’s two anthologies “Hollyhocks and Grasshoppers: Growing up German from Russia in America” & “Watermelons and Thistles: Growing up German from Russia in America” both published in 2018. Nancy contributed three essays to the first book, writing about her one-room school and a woman that homesteaded near her grandmother’s farm.
