Calling all area tweens, teens, and book lovers! The Unbound Teen Lit Fair is coming to the SMSU Conference Center on Monday afternoon, August 3rd, for a celebration of reading and creativity.

This free community event features a stellar lineup of award-winning Minnesota authors, including Geoff Herbach, Juliana Brandt, Hector Curriel, H. M. Bouwman, Deb Mercier, and Erin Makela. Youth can meet the authors, buy books, get them autographed, and participate in interactive discussions. Geoff Herbach and Juliana Brandt will lead youth-focused presentations, while Hector Curriel will draw live caricatures and chat about his art.

The fair also includes a wide range of free crafts and activities designed specifically for teens, such as a selfie station, button making, bookmark crafting, games, trivia, and magnetic poetry. Local youth and family organizations will also be on-site. Everyone is welcome to stop by, meet incredible local authors, and enjoy a fun, free afternoon.
