LES SCHWAB TIRE CENTER PARTNERS WITH UNITED COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP ON DONATED NEW TIRES
Marshall store grand opening to feature tire installation, fun, food & prizes
Soon United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) will be even better equipped to address chronic hunger in the Marshall area. The organization’s Subaru Outback will receive top-notch new tires at the grand opening celebration of the new Les Schwab Tires store in Marshall. Les Schwab Tires is donating the tires as part of its Tires for Purpose program and will install them during the festivities on May 2.
Through partnerships with community members, volunteers and businesses, UCAP addresses chronic hunger in many ways. Its methods include offering local food shelves, SNAP Outreach, NAPS and more. This Subaru Outback is among the vehicles UCAP uses to make home visits, meet with providers, transport clients to medical appointments, and deliver food. The organization relies on its vehicles to help people with transportation barriers get to its offices for much-needed assistance.
The community is invited to join the grand opening celebration at the Les Schwab Tires store at 1307 E. Main St. in Marshall, featuring the tire installation at 2 pm on May 2. Visitors will enjoy sweet treats from Hy Vee Grocery, a free BBQ lunch and free merchandise, gift cards and more.
In addition to welcoming a new community supporter and tire retailer, with the opening of the Marshall Les Schwab Tires store residents now have a new option for one-stop shopping to ensure their vehicles are equipped to safely transport them wherever they need to go. Les Schwab’s offerings include brake services, alignment, shocks and more.
