Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen Dulas, 81, of Marshall, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.  The Horvath Funeral Service in Marshall is handling the arrangements.

Eileen was born on July 17, 1942, to Hans and Ella Jespersen in Albert Lea, MN. She graduated from Freeborn High School in June of 1960. Eileen worked as a secretary for Argonaut Insurance company in Minneapolis for two years.  Eileen met Bernie Dulas in Freeborn, MN and they were married June 23, 1962, in Wells, MN. They lived in Golden Valley, MN while Bernie finished his education at Dunwoody Institute. They moved to Marshall in August of 1962 where Bernie was employed with a Rowe and Nielsen Construction company prior to starting Dulas Construction in 1968.  She was a member of the Marshall Jaycees, Council of Catholic Daughters, and worked with the family business Dulas Construction for many years. Eileen enjoyed sewing, spending time with family and friends at the lake. She enjoyed cooking for the crowd, sitting on the deck, and visiting by the fire. Eileen and Bernie also enjoyed traveling with trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Ireland, and other states in the US.

Eileen LaVonne Dulas, age 81, of Marshall Minnesota passed away peacefully on November 26, 2023, at Heritage Pointe Memory Care Center.

Eileen is survived by her husband, of 61years, Bernie Dulas of Marshall, MN; four children Michael (Denise) Dulas of  Rapid City S.D  Ryan (Tammy) Dulas of Marshall, MN, David (Ellen) Dulas of Pipestone, MN and Shauna (Greg) Schreiber of Brooklyn Park, MN; nine grandchildren Cole (Emily) Dulas, Milee Peavey  (Sebastian), Crist Paul, Dylan (Abby) Dulas, Cati  Paul  (Hussein) , Madison Schumacher, Lexie (Clayton) Koppatschek, Matthew Dulas, and McKenzie Dulas, other relatives and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Hans and Ella Jespersen, her brother Lee (Darlene) Jesperson, and her grandson Alexander Schumacher.
