REDWOOD FALLS, MN — A Willmar man was injured Tuesday morning when a concrete truck tipped onto its side in Redwood County at the intersection of Highway 71 and 340th Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash occurred at 9:18 a.m. when a northbound 2017 Kenworth concrete truck attempted to make a right turn and rolled onto the driver’s side. The road was wet at the time.
The driver, 55-year-old Gregory Glen Benson, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to CentraCare Hospital in Redwood Falls.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Redwood Falls Fire Department, and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
