MARSHALL, Minn. — The Lyon County Museum will host historian and storyteller Doug Ohman for a presentation titled “America 250” on Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m.

The free program will be held at the museum, located at 301 West Lyon Street in Marshall. During the presentation, Ohman will share stories and photographs highlighting the nation’s founding and the people whose vision helped shape the United States.

Ohman has spent more than 30 years photographing Minnesota’s historic architecture and landscapes, with his work appearing in books, magazines and calendars. He also gives more than 300 history presentations each year and has hosted eight PBS television programs. His Landmarks – Keeping History Alive program received a PBS Emmy nomination in 2019.
