Donald Alexx passed away at the age of 66 on Thursday, November 26th, 2020. Private burial will be held. The Horvath Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
Donald Bernard Allex was born in Marshall on November 25, 1954. His parents were Clem and Irene (Gee) Allex. He is survived by his two brothers, Tom (Jeanne) Allex of Marshall and Rick (Sara) Allex, of Shakopee. Don worked on the farm with this dad and brother until his parents moved into town. He then worked at a couple of local businesses while living with his mother. After his mother passed away, Don moved into the Minneota Assisted Apartments and then to the Minneota Manor for the past two years. He enjoyed watching the sports activities in the area, and driving his truck.
Over the past few years, with Don having additional health problems, the staff at the Minneota Manor did an excellent job in helping him to enjoy his days. We would like to thank the staff at the Minneota Apartments and Manor for making a good home for Don at their facility. Due to the COVID crisis and the health issues of his brothers, there will be a private interment. To honor Don’s memory, we would ask that you be kind to, and patient with, those who are challenged.
