She was born to a hard-working family that taught Dolores the importance of faith and family. She was baptized, received first communion, and was confirmed at St. Kilian Catholic Church. Dolores attended St. Kilian Catholic School and Worthington High School.  On January 25, 1949, Dolores was united in marriage to Adrian Hebig, Sr. at St. Kilian Catholic Church. Dolores spent most of her life as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, and she did enjoy working at the HyVee bakery in Marshall, Minnesota for 35 years before retiring.  Dolores was often lovingly referred to as the “Noodle Lady” by family as she prepared large meals when family would get together that included spaghetti pasta.  Dolores was an avid Minnesota sports fan, especially the Minnesota Twins given her love of baseball. She would always have an opinion on who were the best players, and which calls umpires may have missed.  Dolores enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, play sports, and begin families of their own. She was very proud of her entire family; she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Dolores was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was active in the CCW.
