Diana Kay (Guetter) Roozen, 78, of Rapidan, MN formerly of Olivia and Lucan, MN, died Wednesday February 21st at Mayo Clinic Health System of Mankato surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, MN.  Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls and Morgan.

Diana was born January 8th, 1946 in Willmar MN to Raymond and Dorothy (Osborn) Emerson. On July 15th 1961, she married Roger Guetter. In this marriage, they had 5 children: Mary Kay, Sandra, Sheila, Scott, and Sonya.  On December 18th, 2008 she was united in marriage to Thomas Roozen. They shared a love for crafting together, camping at Kieslers, visiting friends and family, trips to Arkansas, playing cards with Helen and John and special friend Doris Brude. We are very thankful for the love and care he gave to our mom and grandmother. Diana was a spunky and fierce woman. She was an amazing cook and canner. She loved to sew and quilt. Her family will always have her love wrapped around them with the quilts and blankets she made. If you look around our homes, you will find many “Diana originals.” We will treasure these forever. Her grandchildren and great- grandchildren were her pride and joy. Throughout the years she shared her love of camping, shopping, garage sales, napping, and red lobster biscuits with them.  Diana had many friends she met through various places. She loved to stay connected with everyone through Facebook or as she would say “fazebook.” We will all miss her “PM’s”, silly comments, and funny posts.

Diana is survived by her husband; Thomas Roozen; children, Sandra (Brad) Miller of Milroy, Sheila (Tom) Brand of Lake Crystal, Scott (Terra) Guetter of Brainerd, Sonya (Tim) Hoffmann of Springfield. Stepchildren: Mike (Sheila) Roozen of Mankato, and Dan (Renee) Roozen of Cross Lake. 19 grandchildren: Brandon, Timothy, Cassandra, Tyler, Justin, Kayla, Austin, Devin, Isaiah, Jacob, James, Abby, Olivia, Shawna, Shayla, Kalley, Shane, Crystal, and Cassandra. 11 great-grandchildren: Bianca, Raygan, Corbin, Madeline, Jaylee, Jade, Levi, Sophia, Isabella, Oliver, and Brandon. As well as many other special family and friends.  She is proceeded in death by her parents, her sisters: Norma, Shirley, Helen, and Lois. As well as brothers-in-law, her baby girl Mary Kay, and son-in-law Michael Miller.

Queen D, you are so loved and missed. We will remember you through hastas, hersheys, diamonds, your treasures, and fond memories.  Until we meet again, girlfriend.
