MARSHALL — The “Walk for Memories” takes place today, Tuesday, June 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Marshall Area YMCA. The community event honors individuals and families affected by dementia and celebrates local dementia champions.
No registration is required, and the first 200 attendees will receive a swag bag. A special Honorary Walk will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to wear purple in support of dementia awareness. Free-will donations will support the Marshall Area Dementia Awareness Network.
