MARSHALL, Minn. — Downtown Marshall will host its annual Crazy Days celebration on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Main Street and Third Street will be closed to traffic as businesses offer sidewalk sales, special discounts, food, drinks, and live music throughout the day.
Family activities begin with the annual kiddie parade, with lineup at 10 a.m. and the parade starting at 10:30. Other attractions include story time with the Marshall-Lyon County Library, a scavenger hunt at the Lyon County Museum, a petting zoo, and a candy drop from a Marshall Fire Department aerial truck at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Food trucks, local restaurants, and vendors will be set up throughout downtown, while musicians will perform during the day. The celebration continues into the evening with the weekly Eats and Beats on Third Street event, featuring live music from Buffalo Alice beginning at 6 p.m. Many downtown stores, bars, and restaurants will also extend their hours for the event.
