GRANITE FALLS (KMHL) – The Yellow Medicine East School District is making changes to its learning plan for next week. According to a press release posted on the district’s Facebook page, the YME incident Command Team met to make changes to its plan in relation to the number of active COVID-19 cases in county.
Given the area has started to see an increase in active cases of the virus, the district is switching models.
All preschool through 5th grade students will report to their building for hybrid learning, while middle school and high school students will shift to total distance learning.
YME also said there will be no after school activities for Cross Country, Girls tennis, volleyball or football next week.
