Constance “Connie” Kodet age 76, of Clements, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Gil Mor Manor in Morgan, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan, MN, with burial at a later date in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. at the church the day of the mass. The Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
Connie was born on December 31, 1948, to Alphonse and Alice (Wagner) Beert. She attended She grew up in Morgan, attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and graduated from Morgan high school. She worked at Zytec, Dakronics, and Arteysn in Redwood Falls, from which she retired in 2013. Throughout the years she enjoyed playing in softball and bowling leagues. The lake, her family, friends, and the joy of music and dancing filled her heart, and the song ‘Running Bear’ never failed to bring a smile to her face. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Connie is now at peace in the Lord’s care, free from pain and restored in spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and treasured memories, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
Connie is survived by her spouse, Gary Kodet of Clements; her children, Jeffery (Rondi) Kodet of Redwood Falls, Lonnie (Jessica) Kodet, and Chrissy (Nick) Heiling of Morgan; and eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings Russel (Ruth) Beert of Redwood Falls, Lenoard (Delores) Beert of Onamia, brother-in-law Derold Lund and sister-in-law Mary Beert. She is preceded in death by her brother, Dave Beert, and her sisters, Rosemary Lund and Kathleen Griffin.
