MARSHALL (KMHL) – After not having a quorum last week – Lyon County Commissioners will address a proposed agreement to continue curbside recycling pickup in Lyon County at a special meeting tomorrow morning.
Commissioners had placed the agreement with Southwest Sanitation on the agenda for their meeting last week – but with one commissioner away and two abstaining from the vote (family connections) – there wasn’t a quorum to vote on it.
Commissioners will vote on a contract with Southwest Sanitation to continue the county’s curbside recycling program on an every-other-week schedule, beginning Nov. 1st. The agreement would last through April of 2021.
The special meeting will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m.
