Marshall (Learfield)- A Click It or Ticket statewide seat belt campaign is now underway in Minnesota.
Officials say the number of people killed by not wearing a seat belt rose in 2021 for the second year in a row.
The Department of Public Safety reported as of May 15th unbelted fatalities were down 27 percent from last year. However, there are seven more unbelted motorist deaths so far this year than there were at this point in 2019.
The Click It or Ticket campaign runs through June Fifth.
