CLARA CITY, Minn. — A Clara City woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Chippewa County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 7:24 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 2 in Rheiderland Township. A 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by 40-year-old Angela Olmscheid of Clara City was traveling north on County Road 2 when it collided with a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer traveling east on Highway 7.
Olmscheid suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Willmar Hospital. The Trailblazer driver, 27-year-old Travis Parker of Belview, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office and Montevideo Ambulance.
