MARSHALL (KMHL) – The city of Marshall is in need of volunteers to help with the community-wide COVID-19 testing that is taking place later this week.

The city is looking for volunteers to help fill several shifts to help in the testing. It set up a website with various job duties and time slot schedules needing volunteers.

Officials say the shifts are short, to allow volunteering to be flexible around people’s work and activity schedules. They are looking for volunteers to help with traffic control, interpreters and sanitizers.

All volunteers will be provided adequate personal protective equipment.

If you’re interested in volunteering and available to help out you can see a list of those duties and available time slots on the city’s website. Or click here.

Volunteers may sign up for more than one shift, city officials warn though to keep in mind that it is expected to be quite warm.
