Christeena Paw, age 10, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota. Interment will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., on Friday, November 19, 2021, also at the Hamilton Funeral Home.
Christeena Paw was born on July 19, 2011, to San Di Htoo and Say Blu in a refugee camp in Mae Sariang, Thailand. She emigrated from a there to Marshall, Minnesota, with her family in December 2019. Christeena was a fourth-grade student at Southview Elementary in Marshall. She enjoyed playing with her dolls and watching TV when not at school with her classmates. Christeena’s deepest passions were her family and she cherished time spent with her parents and 3 siblings.
Christeena Paw entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She made the most of her 10 years, 3 months, and 26 days of life. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her parents, San Di Htoo & Say Blu of Marshall; siblings, Sher Ka Paw Doh Htoo, Way Ber Paw, Sher Kpaw Doe Htoo; grandparents in Thailand, Naw Pet, Pit Htoo & Kwe K’nyaw; many other relatives near and far; and friends. Christeena is preceded in death by her grandfather, Pah Lah Doo.
