(St. Cloud, MN) — In recognition of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, thirteen CentraCare facilities across Minnesota are providing complimentary take-home colon cancer tests starting today (Friday) until April 15th. The kits are available for adults aged 45 and above, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability. Authorities underscore the significance of early detection in preventing colon cancer, as it remains one of the most fatal cancers, affecting nearly 70 percent of individuals diagnosed who have no family history of the disease.
