Cases of COVID-19 continue to climb in Minnesota and locally

MARSHALL (KMHL) – Cases of coronavirus continue to climb. The updated numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health now say 18 Minnesotans have died because of the virus.

There have been a total of 742 confirmed cases of the virus in the state.

Locally, Lyon County now has three confirmed cases of COVID-19, while Yellow Medicine County has also recorded its first confirmed case.

Officials say statewide there are 38 people hospitalized in the ICU as of today.
