GRANITE FALLS – A three-vehicle accident near Granite Falls Thursday evening left one person injured, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:32 Thursday evening, a 2014 Ford Focus was traveling southbound on Highway 23. A 2005 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on Highway 23 when the vehicles collided. A 2017 Chevrolet Malibu that was traveling northbound struck debris from the original impact.
The driver of the Impala, 20-year-old Preston Eddie Yohnke of Carlos, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Granite Falls Hospital.
The driver of the Ford, 31-year-old Matthew Allen Beek of Lake Wilson, was not injured.
The driver of the Malibu, 24-year-old Agg Moo Thaw of Willmar, and her passenger, Soe Naing Thein of Willmar, were not injured.
