Lake Benton – A Brookings teen was injured when her vehicle lost control and crashed in Lincoln County on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:00 Wednesday morning, a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 in Verdi Township of Lincoln County when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the ditch.
The driver of the Pontiac, 17-year-old Kadyn Jo Thompson of Brookings, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Tyler hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Benton Fire and First Responders, and Tyler Ambulance.
