REDWOOD FALLS (KMHL) – Authorities are back out searching again this morning for a Redwood Falls teenager who was swept away while swimming in the Redwood River yesterday.
Authorities say Thunder Wambade Brothersofall, 16, of Redwood Falls was swimming with a group of teenagers in the river yesterday near West Bridge Street in Redwood Falls, when he got caught in the current and was swept away. Authorities searched for Brothersofall by land and air – including a drone, but as of 11 p.m. last night had not found him.
Authorities warn that the Redwood River is very high and moving very fast and they are encouraging the public to stay away from the river and banks in and near Ramsey Park.
